At the I-X Center, we strive to provide excellent services to all of our guests, including those with disabilities and special needs.
We have met or exceeded the requirement s of compliance with the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Ohio accessibility mandates. At the I-X Center, we provide a wide range of accommodations for guests to ensure the safety, comfort and continued enjoyment of facility and events.
Disabled Parking: Designated parking is available for guests with disabilities no matter what entrance you are using to gain access to the building. Please be sure your vehicle is properly displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. Parking is on a first come first serve basis.
Elevators/Escalators: The I-X Center is equipped with elevators and escalators that provide access to public areas within the convention center.
Emergency Evacuation Procedures: I-X Center employees have been properly trained in emergency evacuation procedures to ensure the safe evacuation of all guests, including those with disabilities.
First Aid: First Aid stations are staffed with registered paramedics who can be found in the West and East Lobby during events.
Mother’s Room & Baby Changing: Mother’s Room and Baby Changing stations are available on the West and East Pavilion.
Restrooms: Accessible restrooms can be found on the West and East Pavilions, Concourse, Seminar and Ballroom. In addition, we have family/gender neutral restrooms available on the West Pavilion.
Service Animals/Guide Dogs: Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited at the I-X Center with the exception of trained service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Service animals must remain leashed or in a harness while inside the convention center.
Wheelchairs: Depending on availability, complimentary wheelchairs are available on a first come first serve basis in the West and East Lobby Coat Check area.
